"We," "us," or "our" means Young Americans Against Socialism (YAAS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with its principal place of business at 200 S Barrington Ave #49274, Los Angeles, CA 90049-7934.
2. About This Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you use our website, make a donation, purchase from our store, subscribe to our communications, or otherwise engage with us online or offline (collectively, the "Services").

3. What Personal Information We Collect
Information you provide to us:
Contact information. When you sign up for our newsletter, emails, or text messages, register for an event, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and any other information needed to communicate with you.
Donation information. When you donate, your payment is processed by our third-party payment processor, Donorbox. We receive your name, contact details, donation amount, and date, which we use to process your gift, issue tax receipts, and thank you. We do not store your full card or bank account details.
Purchase information. When you buy from our online store, your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive your name, shipping address, email, and order details to fulfill your order. Your financial information is stored by Stripe and governed by its privacy policy.
Forms and surveys. You may provide personal information when you fill out a form, respond to a survey, apply to volunteer, or give us feedback.
Communications. We collect information you share when you email, call, text, or message us, including your contact method, communication preferences, and anything else you choose to share.
Information collected automatically:
When you visit our website, we and our service providers, including Squarespace Analytics, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel, may collect device and usage information through cookies and similar technologies. This includes IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and the site that referred you. We use this information to understand how visitors use our site, improve our content and outreach, and measure and deliver relevant advertising on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as intended.
Do Not Track: Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

Process donations, issue tax receipts, and acknowledge your support

Donor information is kept confidential. We do not publicly disclose donor names or giving amounts without your permission.
7. Your Marketing Choices
We send marketing messages if you subscribed, donated, purchased from us, or registered for an event. We will ask for your consent before sharing your personal information with any third party for its own marketing purposes.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us at info@yaas.org. If you opt out, we may still send non-promotional messages, such as donation receipts or order confirmations.
8. Text Messages
If you opt in to receive text messages from us, we will use your mobile number to send updates about our work, events, and campaigns. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of donating or making a purchase.
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@yaas.org and we will delete it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
